I love this! You brought me back to my first read of The Hobbit. I had no expectations and had never heard of Tolkien. It was just another book on my dad's shelf on a boring afternoon. Your experience of being geographically connected is special.
Thank you so much! I born in β94 so I had seen the LOTR films already, but I didnβt enjoy the main book series at that point (despite being a complete bookworm!) - I think they were just too mature for me. But my mum recommended that I should try reading the Hobbit instead, and it was just magical!
So magical! I can't imagining meeting middle earth any other way. Now I am curious if anyone reverses this order and tackles LOTR without The Hobbit as an introduction. Of course, the movies have ensconced them in the public imagination now. It was so different back in the 90s when I stumbled on them. π€£
You beautiful creature, I drive over the river rother and it's a in its fledgling stage, I lived in northern new Zealand as a kid and you can imagine how I can believe your complete witness β€οΈ bless your heart

I suppose it was introduced that way round for people who just watched the films! But I agree!
Beautifully written! Tolkienβs work was a big part of my childhood as well, though Texas had/has a considerably different environment. :^)
Haha I bet! Thank you so much βΊοΈ
I absolutely love the way this captured the feeling of the story! Could I feature this in a round-up art post?
Thank you so much! Of course! βΊοΈβΊοΈβΊοΈ
Of course! I usually do them on Thursdays, but I'm pausing this week, so it'll be in next week's if that works!
That sounds amazing! Thank you! βΊοΈ
iβm in awe of how you use nature and its blessings to create your pieces.
Thatβs so kind! This comment made me smile so much!
